CAB general assembly members are required to sit on at least one of the following committees.

At the Show Concerts
The Concert Committee focuses on bringing great music to Western's campus. This committee will work on anything from small coffee house events to a BIG concert in the Spring! If you have a love for live music and like to have fun, then you should check out the concert committee.

Bernie's After
Hours Comedy Club
The Bernies After Hours Comedy Club focuses on relieving the day-to-day stress from students by way of laughter. Bringing anything from small comedians, to big comedians, to holding an on campus comedy competition, Bernies comedy club promises to entertain without breaking your bank. Those involved in the Bernies After Hours Comedy Club committee research and discuss future events as well as socialize and talk comedy. Anyone who enjoys friendship and laughter is welcome to become a member of the Bernies After Hours Comedy Club.

Miller Movies is a movie usually put on three times a semester that is no longer in theatres but is not yet available at Blockbuster. The cost to attend is $1 for students with their Bronco ID and $2 without. As a committee, we discuss possible movies to bring to WMU, how we can promote them, and fun giveaways to make the Miller Movie experience more exciting. For those committee members who chose to work the actual event, we serve the FREE popcorn, hand out the giveaways and introduce the movie! After doing all of that, those who help get to watch the movie completely free of charge! If you enjoy getting into movies free (the legal wayJ) as well as a laid back atmosphere then the Miller Movies committee is the committee for you.
Special Events
Are you interested in the events coming to WMU from CAB? Do you also want to do something other then comedians and music events? Then come join the Special Events committee! We are the "everything else" committee, we put on all those great events that come to campus that don't fit in those categories, such as ventriliquists, magicians, dating doctors; you name it, we put it on! If you join this committee, you will help plan and coordinate these many events, and also input on what you think what events should come to Western. It's a whole lot of fun, and that's what helps put the Special in Special Events!
The Street Team Committee is a brand new committee this year!! We work with the event series committees to promote CAB events. We also make flyers, quarters and lots of other promos and our committee is more than welcome to bring their creative ideas to the table! Anyone in Advertising and Promotions, this is a great way to make stuff for your portfolio and such! ALso, we have lots of fun chalking and flyering and all of that fun stuff!!!!
